Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Launches Fundraising Program for Non-Profits and Schools Nationwide
Tampa, Fla. (PRWEB) March 27, 2008 -- More than 20 percent of U.S. residents drink at least one cup of coffee every day. Why shouldn't proceeds from that cup of coffee benefit local communities?
Now they can. Tampa-based Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company has launched an innovative, yet simple way to raise funds for non-profit organizations and schools nationwide. "It's a simple process and a great way for students, athletes or any community organization to raise funds," said Joffrey's Coffee & Tea CEO Ted Abrams. "All you would have to do is visit Joffreys.com and register a school, athletic club or charity to receive a promotional code linked to your program. Then ask your network of supporters, friends and family to visit the Web site and enter that promotional code at checkout when they order their favorite flavors of coffee and tea."
For every bag of coffee or tea purchased, Joffrey's will donate 20 percent of the sale, excluding shipping and handling, directly to the specified organization. Joffrey's also will continue to donate 20 percent of all subsequent sales through re-orders by telephone at 800-458-JAVA (5282) or online through the fundraising sales Web site. Buyers must specify whole bean (WB) or ground (GRND) coffee when ordering.
Every four weeks, Joffrey's will generate a report and issue payment to the organization. In essence, this program will continue to generate funds for years to come when ordering through Joffrey's.
"Joffrey's is committed to communities throughout the country," said Abrams. "This is a fantastic opportunity for people to purchase exceptional coffee while at the same time supporting a cause that is near and dear to their heart."
Joffrey's primary focus is wholesaling and distributing products through a variety of sources from local coffee shops to Gold Cup Coffee Service office delivery services to major food retailers and restaurants, as well as online.
Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company, based in Tampa, Fla. with local, national, international and online distribution, was founded in 1984. The company's mission is to offer an unsurpassed coffee experience with quality in flavor and service, and in relationships with restaurants like Crispers and grocers like Sweetbay who distribute Joffrey's coffee. After selecting the finest coffee beans from around the world, Joffrey's roasts, flavors, grinds, packages and distributes through its Tampa plant, always with a focus on exceptional quality and flavor. Today, Joffrey's produces more than 124 different coffee varieties, 54 loose leaf teas and 19 iced teas. Flavors such as Angel's Kiss, Butter Crunch, Chocolate Turtle and Cinnamon Graham Cracker help customers "Taste Our Passion." Visit www.joffreys.com or call (800) 458-JAVA to order coffee delivered to your home or office, to sign-up for the Brewekrewe and for Joffrey's Café and The Junction locations throughout the southeast.
